Museum Library
The reference library of the Museum of East Asian Art in Cologne was established with the museum’s founding in 1909 and originated from the private book collection of the museum’s founder Adolf Fischer.
Today, it holds more than 30,000 volumes in various languages, including monographs, reference works, specialist journals as well as exhibition and art trade catalogues, covering the history of art in China, Japan, Korea, Tibet, Mongolia, India and Southeast Asia.
Opening hours: Monday and Wednesday, 11:00am – 01:00pm.
