Salon & Metzgerei Schmitz im MOK
If you want to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city without going too far, this is where you want to be. In the foyer of the Museum of East Asian Art on the ‘Aachener Weiher’ you can relax in the ‘Schmitz’. In the elegant 1977 building by Le Corbusier’s pupil Kunio Maekawa, enjoy the specialities of our kitchen and bakery. With a view of the Japanese Pool the tea tastes twice as good. In summer on the covered terrace, in winter in the cosy warmth while still enjoying the view through the museum’s panorama windows.
